Tax Accountant

Rebecca joined the Hoffman & Associates tax department in March 2017.  She is a CPA with over a decade of public accounting tax experience.  She holds a Masters of Taxation degree and a Bachelors of Business Administration Accounting degree from Georgia State University.  She is a member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Public Accountants.

She served on the GSCPA Council for two terms and has chaired and co-chaired committees and task forces for the GSCPA with a focus on young CPAs and recruitment of talent to the profession.  She went through the GSPCA Leadership Academy in 2003 and was awarded the GSCPA President’s Distinguished Chair award in 2006 for her work on the Young CPA committee. She went through training as an Ambassador for the AICPA in recruitment in 2008.  She has taught Intermediate Accounting at Kennesaw State University (formerly Southern Polytechnic State University).

She is a dedicated volunteer for several charitable causes.  Her past service includes PTA president (Henderson Mill Elementary School) for two terms, Finance Council member for the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and Treasurer for the Daughters Of Isabella Saint Margaret Mary Circle.

Rebecca is married to Jacob Boggs and they have two sons, Caleb and Nicholas.
